Loish Loish Loish

Lois van Baarle, perhaps better known as Loish, is an artist that I've admired for many years. Her illustrations are beautiful, whimsical, & often very colourful. Young women are one of her most frequent subjects, & they are almost always depicted as being happy & healthy, no weepy, twiggish girls for this artist. Lois herself comes across as a happy person, not to mention rather successful, with a masters degree in art from the Utrecht School of the Arts that she received just last year.
